Is there trouble in paradise between Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend after her recent cozy reunion with Ben Affleck?
In case you missed it, the former couple spent Thanksgiving together volunteering at the Midnight Mission in downtown Los Angeles to help feed over 2,000 people experiencing homelessness. The Good Will Hunting actor also went to her home in Brentwood for dinner. According to an insider for Page Six, Ben felt “blessed” to have spent Turkey Day with Jen. He reportedly feels he “can just be himself” whenever he’s around the 13 Going On 30 star, and there’s “a certain level of comfort with her.”
Poor Jennifer Lopez! And poor Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller! What does he think about his girlfriend cozying up to her ex? It’s gotta hurt! He wasn’t a fan of how “hyper focused” she was on Ben’s marital issues with J.Lo, so he mustn’t be OK with her holiday reunion with the director, right? Enough to possibly call it quits? Not so fast!
According to People, Jennifer and John are still going strong! A source told the outlet on Friday that she is “very happy with” the Cali Group founder and “spends a lot of time with him.” In fact, the insider shared that Garner “sees him almost every day!” John even spent the night at her house on Thanksgiving, per People! Wow! And when it comes to Ben and those reconciliation rumors following their cozy holiday together, the insider stressed there’s zero truth to them! They’re just “friends” and all about their kids, Fin, Violet, and Samuel — nothing more! The source said:
“Jen truly just wants her kids to be happy. She will continue to make sure that they spend time together as a family and include Ben.”
They even “have Christmas plans with the kids,” so if you see them together again that day, don’t think too much into the reunion:
“The kids enjoy when they all spend time together. Jen’s grateful that Ben’s doing well. They are friends, but that’s it. They truly enjoy giving back to their community and cherishing quality time together as a family.”
It sounds like we can all call off the reconciliation talk — for now! And instead, everyone can appreciate how Ben and Garner have such a solid co-parenting relationship that they can come together to make the holidays great for their children years after their divorce!
