Another one to add to the list… when will this list end?
Viewers are all saying the same thing about a hit Netflix show that features a somewhat star studded cast, and if you’ve seen it, you’ll understand why – it is hilarious.
Retta, Mae Whitman and Christina Hendricks all feature in the epic comedy which is available to stream on Netflix (NBCUniversal Media)
The comedy, which ran from 2018 until 2021 and boasts of 50 episodes across four seasons, features actors Retta, who played Donna Meagle in Parks and Recreation, Mae Whitman, best known for her role as Mary Elizabeth in The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and Mad Men fans will remember Christina Hendricks as Joan Harris.
The hilarious comedy crime series landed a score of 7.7 on iMDB – impressive for any film and TV series, let alone a comedy.
So, what is the show that people just can’t get enough of then?
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, I introduce you to Good Girls.
The synopsis speaks for itself. It follows three suburban mothers who each find themselves in desperate circumstances and decide to take matters into their own hands. The adoring moms aren’t playing it safe anymore as they begin to break the law in comical fashion.
They decide to rob the workplace of Annie Marks, and as they enter the store, you can see them all comically donning washing up gloves. However, following the robbery, things get a little too real.
Despite it being nominated for a Satellite Award for its final season, the show got cancelled – much to the disappoint of many fans.
Some of those fans took to Facebook to sing the its praises on the Netflix Bangers page.
One user wrote: “This will always be the best series!!!”
While another typed: “Yesssss i’ve rewatched that so many timess.”
And a third penned: “Yes!!!!!! One of the best shows on Netflix.
“Also try workin moms.”
And they kept coming, but it was apparent that fans weren’t happy with NBC dropping the show in the manner it did – when a fifth season seemed imminent.

One user said: “Yes! You’ll be pissed off when it’s over though lol.”
A second commented: “Absolutely my favorite series on Netflix wish there was more seasons.”
While a third added: “THATS A DEFINITE YES!!
“Best series, hate that they cancelled it!”
Unfortunately, it is still unknown why NBC pulled the plug, although there were suggestions that it was over a pay dispute with Manny Montana, who played Rio, but film critics have claimed he was just used as a scapegoat.
