Travis Kelce just can’t seem to keep Taylor Swift off of his mind. In Wednesday’s episode of New Heights alongside his brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave some subtle references to his girlfriend. Of course, the pair are enjoying some very rare alone time amid their demanding careers, so seeing the 35-year-old get all giddy about his lady is SO adorable!
Jason was complaining about his “voice” being “shot” in the podcast, to which Trav offered some advice:
“Just go ahead, get some honey … get some whiskey and some honey, you know what I’m saying.”
When the retired NFL star asked how his little bro knew so much about “vocal soothing”, he mischievously responded:
“I’ve read up on it. Big reader.”
Later in the episode, while discussing how football players always play with the sun in their face, Jason pointed out how singers who perform in the same arenas don’t have that issue:
“I saw somewhere — and I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I saw it on the internet, so I’m gonna assume it’s true like everybody else does — I think [stadiums] actually have shades. Because they do concerts in there and singers have said that it bothers them. Like, it’s an option that they could legitimately just put the shades down.”
To which Travis just couldn’t help but smirk and add:
“Might have to ask somebody.”
