Recently, Diddy’s attorney, Anthony Ricco, announced that he was stepping down from the music mogul’s legal team, plunging the rapper into yet another crisis. In New York, Ricco filed a surprising motion to withdraw, accompanied by a mysterious statement hinting at the reasons behind his decision to leave Diddy’s side.
“Although I have provided Sean Combs with a high level of legal representation, under no circumstances can I continue to effectively serve as his attorney,” Ricco explained enigmatically. “There are sufficient reasons (related to attorney-client privilege) for the brevity of my statement regarding my withdrawal from this case.”
Ricco also stated that his departure would allow the music mogul to move forward with the case and start court proceedings without delay. It is worth noting that Diddy’s trial is set to begin in May, with charges of sex trafficking and racketeering against him. The rapper denies all accusations. In addition, numerous individuals have filed lawsuits against Diddy, accusing him of sexual assault.
