P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was considered one of the American music industry’s most influential rap artists, producers, and businessmen. Last year, he became embroiled in a major scandal. The rapper’s former girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him, claiming he had abused her for more than ten years. Following this, several anonymous lawsuits accusing him of sexual violence were filed.
In September, P. Diddy was arrested on charges of human trafficking for sexual exploitation, criminal conspiracy, and aiding prostitution. He was denied bail three times. In a recent court hearing, many noticed that the rapper had changed significantly—appearing much older and more gaunt. It seems that his health has deteriorated during his time in prison.
“He looked surprisingly thin. What else could you expect from a person who has been in federal detention for eight weeks? Life there is vastly different from the luxury he’s used to. He also had noticeable gray hair. It’s clear that prison life is wearing on him,” said journalist Elizabeth Millner from Law & Crime.
However, a source reported that the musician is still in decent physical shape. “He is healthy and fully focused on his defense. As always, he was happy to see his children, and he regularly works out,” the source stated.
Journalists with cameras were not allowed into the court hearing, so we have to take their word for it—without photo or video evidence. However, a few months in one of New York’s toughest prisons could break even a powerful music mogul.
P. Diddy is accused of rape, human trafficking for sexual purposes, racketeering, and other crimes. Over 120 alleged victims are involved in the case, including minors. One incident involving a 13-year-old girl is described in detail in a lawsuit filed in federal court in New York by attorney Tony Buzbee.
