Hollywood’s power couple, George and Amal Clooney, have managed to keep their personal lives largely private, especially when it comes to their children. The celebrated actor values his family so highly that he even took a step back from his career at one point to focus more on his beloved wife.
George has spoken numerous times about his admiration for Amal, often mentioning her even without being asked. Reflecting on his earlier life, he admitted, “I used to think, ‘I’m never getting married. I’m not going to have kids.’” He felt that his life was fulfilling with a successful career and close friends. But after meeting Amal, George realized how incomplete he had been. “I didn’t know how much was missing until I met Amal. And then everything changed,” he revealed, acknowledging the profound impact she had on his life.
The “Ocean’s Twelve” actor has often shared how becoming a father changed him, making him more selfless and grateful for family life. “It’s an incredible thing,” he said, noting how both he and Amal feel incredibly fortunate. They have also made a conscious decision not to sell or share photos of their children, opting to keep their lives private for safety reasons. “We never post pictures of them because doing so would put them at risk,” George explained.
Their children, who have a passion for painting, enjoy many adventures with their parents, especially in the summer. In 2022, the family traveled around Europe, with reports confirming that by September 2023, Ella and Alexander were enjoying boat rides, water activities, and playdates with local children. “They have a small group of friends their age that they spend time with,” an insider shared.
George also reflected on how, despite being famous, many celebrities still manage to lead relatively normal lives. “Even those who reach a high level of fame can still walk around New York without much hassle. But for a few of us, it never lets up,” he admitted.
