The Hollywood star reflected on one of the toughest years of her life. In addition to setbacks in her career, Jennifer Lopez is going through a divorce with 52-year-old actor Ben Affleck. Despite everything, Lopez is doing her best to stay positive. “I think I overcome difficulties not because I believe they happen to me, but because they happen for me, and I take lessons from them. When I think about it this way and maintain a more positive mindset, it’s easier for me to accept it as the lesson it is,” Jennifer assured.
The owner of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame believes that everything that happens in life has a reason. “That’s where the difficulties of our lives lie. What am I supposed to learn here? There are no coincidences. It doesn’t happen for no reason. What can I learn, and how can I come out on the other side better, stronger, wiser, developing and growing from this moment on?” the actress shared in an interview with British Vogue.
The Hustlers star revealed that, over the years, she’s learned to absorb the lessons life gives her and to be grateful for everything — both the good and the bad. “I think to myself, ‘Thank you, Lord. I’m sorry it took me so long to understand. I’m sorry you had to do this to me so many times. I should have understood this two or three times ago.’ I get it now. I’ve kept the ability to be joyful and happy.”
This past weekend, JLo was spotted shopping with her 16-year-old daughter Emme and her friends. They were accompanied by a bodyguard. Jennifer looked stylish in a white top, blue jeans, and sneakers. A perfectly tailored white coat added a touch of glamour to her look. She held a coffee cup and a crocodile leather bag.

Emme opted for a casual ensemble consisting of a white tank top, plaid shirt, black pants, and sneakers. The artist and her daughter were seen shopping at a mall on Rodeo Drive. They seemed in high spirits, smiling and laughing.
