His 24-year-old daughter, who has been battling an autoimmune disease for years, suffered a severe stroke. This event not only changed their everyday lives but also forced them to reconsider many priorities.
“Anyone who knows me knows that Cory is my kryptonite,” Snoop Dogg shared. He admitted that his daughter has always inspired him with her resilience. “Cory has always been open about her health issues, showing others that they are not alone. Her courage helped us cope as well,” the rapper recalled, reflecting on that difficult time.
Cory described the day when her life suddenly changed: “I was at a party, and the next day I was in the hospital. I think it really scared everyone. A stroke is no joke. Realizing that everything can change in an instant brought my family and me closer together,” she said.
Snoop, known for his charisma and confidence, confessed that he felt helpless when he first learned what had happened. However, he didn’t give up. The 53-year-old musician stayed by his daughter’s side throughout her hospitalization, encouraging her and reminding her that her loved ones would always support her. “When they tell you your child might not make it, it breaks you inside. Now, Cory is recovering, but the stroke has forced her to reassess her lifestyle. “I’ve started to appreciate every little thing I used to take for granted. It’s been a lesson for me,” she said.
