Ryan Reynolds is not having the best time during the holidays this year… and frankly it’s not so surprising given the situation.
As we’ve been reporting, his wife Blake Lively sued her It Ends With Us director and co-star for sexual harassment and launching a smear campaign after the film to “destroy” her reputation. Since the bombshell news broke, the actress has received support from her friends, family, and other celebrities. While her husband has not addressed the lawsuit, he has been by her side since the beginning. And it’s reportedly been tough on him.
He even hinted in his first post on social media since the lawsuit filing that it’s taken a toll on his mood. On Monday, Ryan re-posted a video on Instagram Stories starring him and his 8-year-old daughter Inez as Deadpool and Kidpool to ask for donations to the organization SickKids Foundation and wrote:
“It’s almost Christmas Eve. Last day to donate to [SickKids Foundation]. Thank you [Bryan Rowland] for directing this amazing little piece during a time I really didn’t feel like putting the suit on. Thank you [Lynda Carter] for your time, grace and talent. Thank you to my daughter for being such a good person despite your dad asking you to swear (for a good cause).”
He “really didn’t feel like putting the suit on”?? When has Ryan ever not felt like putting that thing on?! Oof. Well, he did it anyway.
The Deadpool & Wolverine star went on to say that he and Blake plan to match “any donation to 500K” and stressed the need to provide a “sanctuary for so many kids and their parents traversing the unimaginable.” Take a look at the post (below):

Can you blame him for being in a bit of a sour mood? What Blake allegedly had to experience on-set of IEWU and afterward is a lot for any family…
