Despite losing far too much in his notorious divorce and defamation lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard, Johnny Depp seems to be finally doing great in life. Although he missed out on several iconic film franchises that he was once synonymous with, Depp appears to be making peace with it, through his art. Dipping the paintbrush and creating masterpieces, Depp recently made headlines for his immersive and experiential exhibition in Manhattan.

And, guess who was there to cheer him through his new art exhibit? His longtime pal Robert Downey Jr. After previously extending his support for Johnny Depp during the tantalizing trial, Downey Jr. once again returned with his praises for his “brother,” following his exhibition at the Starrett-Lehigh Building in the Chelsea neighborhood.

Meanwhile, as his work captivated visitors, Johnny Depp‘s fiercely loyal friend Robert Downey Jr. appeared to be among the attendees who showcased their authentic support for the actor and his work. Considering how the exhibition wasn’t just celebrating Depp’s artistic side, but also his resilience through a tumultuous couple of years, Downey Jr. couldn’t help but praise the actor. 

Sharing a video via his social media, Robert Downey Jr. wrote the above-mentioned caption to his post and tagged Johnny Depp as his brother. Using a song by Depp’s band Hollywood Vampires as an audio for his post, Downey Jr. can be heard saying “that’s my boy! Alright, let’s take a look at the show,” before sharing a glimpse of the artwork featured in the exhibit.

Well, this isn’t the first time that Robert Downey Jr. has extended his support for his longtime pal Johnny Depp. Their bond seems to extend beyond just art, considering how the Iron Man actor had previously showered his unwavering support for Depp during his highly publicized trial against Amber Heard.

Similarly, when the time came for Johnny Depp to show his loyalty to Robert Downey Jr., the actor took to his Instagram story to shower his heartfelt praise upon the Oppenheimer star following his Oscar win. It seems that what started as an on-set friendship following their appearance in the 2000 film Before Night Falls, ended up being an unbreakable bond that endured even the toughest storms.
