Affleck and Garner took part in a charity event, helping to distribute food and drinks. The actors assisted volunteers from the Midnight Mission organization in Los Angeles, serving meals to 2,000 homeless and needy individuals.
The couple’s three children—18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Seraphina, and 12-year-old Samuel—joined them. Jennifer switched her glamorous look for a more casual outfit, consisting of a blue sweater and jeans. The actress, known for her role in Elektra, secured her chestnut curls with a dark hairpin. Meanwhile, Affleck, who starred in Good Will Hunting, was dressed in a dark button-up shirt and grey pants. Their children also opted for casual clothing.
Affleck and Garner wore matching aprons with the phrase “I love Midnight Mission” and netted caps as they began handing out hot meals. Their eldest daughter, Violet, reunited with the family after being apart for a while. She now lives separately while studying at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Violet also wore a protective face mask.
Ben appeared to be in high spirits as he spent the holiday with his loved ones. At one point, he leaned in and whispered something to Jennifer, causing her to burst into laughter. Garner and Affleck divorced in October 2018, just two months before Ben entered rehab for alcohol addiction. Over the years, they’ve maintained a friendly relationship, co-parenting their children. The public appearance of the ex-spouses came three months after Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck.
The 55-year-old singer and actress was photographed the day before, arriving at a trendy Los Angeles restaurant. Lopez, known for her role in Hustlers, wore a white blouse with a deep neckline and stylish jeans. She completed her chic look with nude-colored heels, a brown crocodile leather Hérmes handbag, and a grey blazer as she met with friends.
