Lauren Sánchez Celebrates 55th Birthday in Sexy Latex Little Black Dress

Lauren Sánchez spiced things up for her 55th birthday — and look good doing so!

The philanthropist marked the special occasion on Thursday, Dec. 19, by slipping into a sexy latex bodycon dress with sparking sequins that accentuated her curves. She celebrated with her fiancé, Jeff Bezos, and a group of pals.

In a photo posted on Instagram, Sánchez is seen wearing the minidress with dazzling silver earrings. Her hair flows freely down her shoulders as she poses alongside some friends, including Baby2Baby Co-CEO Kelly Sawyer and Katy Perry.

Perry’s fiancé, Orlando Bloom, was also among the 18 of Sánchez’s friends who helped mark the occasion. 

They dined at the newly opened Miami hotspot Sparrow Italia, part of the global restaurant group Noble 33. Sparrow Italia features live music and modern Italian steakhouse cuisine. The group then closed the night by attending the Usher concert at the Kaseya Center.

The birthday girl reflected on the night by sharing the group photo and a shot of people dancing under strobe lights.

“How it started—how it ended. (Missing a few of my girls in this photo.) What a truly magical evening. I have never felt more grateful or more loved. Thank you to everyone who reached out and wished me a happy birthday—you lit up my day in ways I can’t describe. 🤍 Here’s to another year around the sun, illuminated by the people who make every moment shine. 🤍✨🪩,” wrote Sánchez in her Instagram caption.

Bezos, 60, ensured that Sánchez felt the birthday love by penning a sweet tribute to her on Instagram.

“What an incredible year — you set your mind to writing a children’s book and now you’re a NYT bestselling author. I have a feeling your next trip around the sun will be just as amazing. Happy birthday, baby,” he wrote.

Sánchez, who PEOPLE confirmed was engaged to the Amazon founder in May 2023, responded by commenting, “I love you so much❤️❤️.”
