Well, the trauma ain’t from her tumultuous marriage with Kanye West, but rather her invasive encounters of robbery and breakage. Therefore, Kim Kardashian’s $60M house is now equipped with a bunker that has made fans curious about her preparation for doomsday.

Following this harrowing experience, the make-up mogul faced another break-in in 2017. This time, robbers targeted her and Kanye West’s Bel-Air mansion. According to The Sun, three of the couple’s luxury cars were ransacked. Once again, Kardashian faced an almost break-in in her Hidden Hills estate until security got hold of the trespasser. Thereafter, such harrowing experiences eventually pushed her to reconsider her safety and led to her fascination with bunkers.

Her initial exploration of bunkers began on a Keeping Up With the Kardashians episode. Fast forward a few years, Kim Kardashian began planning for an underground “vault” and parking structure at her new home. However, neighbors raised concerns over the construction, which involved leveling hills and displacing 5,000 cubic yards of earth. Though the specifics of Kardashian’s plans remain a mystery, it’s rumored that the underground space could double as a bunker.

Clyde Scott, owner of Rising S Bunkers, hinted at Kim Kardashian’s version of an underground retreat that could include luxury touches like a private pool beneath the earth’s surface. Thereafter, although the influencer stopped making headlines about building a bunker, following the construction issues, Nicki Swift reported that Kardashian’s $60M house beholds a personal fortress that the SKIMS founder has quite obviously kept from the public.
