Justin Bieber has been billed $380,000 for unpaid property taxes on his $16.6 million home in the Coachella Valley, which he purchased in January 2023. Official records obtained by US Sun indicate that half of the payment was due earlier this month, on October 12, with the remaining amount expected by April 10 of the following year. This news follows reports from TMZ about the singer’s alleged financial troubles. Sources revealed that the 30-year-old Bieber is considering suing his former business managers for allegedly mismanaging his wealth.
However, reports suggest that his team is divided on the potential lawsuit. Some colleagues believe that Bieber, whose net worth is estimated at $300 million after selling his music catalog, is handling his finances irresponsibly. An insider told that the pop star’s spending has “gotten out of control,” stating, “He spends outrageous amounts each month. At one point, he couldn’t even get a credit card.” The source added that Bieber is surrounded by individuals who do not have his best interests at heart.
The insider also mentioned that Bieber regularly spends money on private jets, homes, and church donations. According to People, in May—around the same time Bieber and his wife Hailey announced they were expecting a child—the Grammy winner ended his relationship with former business manager Lou Taylor after 18 months with her company, Tri Star Sports And Entertainment Group. In a statement to US Sun, Tri Star confirmed that Bieber is not considering legal action against them.
“Our representation of him over those 18 months has been without fault, and he knows that,” said a company representative. “We are not responsible for any unpaid property taxes,” the source concluded.
