Justin Baldoni shares pictures of his family ‘being held in basement’ at It Ends With Us premiere

Justin Baldoni has shared some pictures of his family in what he claims is them ‘being held in basement’ at the It Ends With Us premiere.

Earlier this week, it was revealed Baldoni’s company is suing Blake Lively for $400,000,000, as well as her husband, Ryan Reynolds, their publicist Leslie Sloane, and Sloane’s PR firm, Vision PR.

Baldoni is suing on claims of civil extortion, defamation, false light invasion of privacy, breach of implied covenant of good faith, and fair dealing.

He’s also suing on grounds of prospective economic advantage, negligent interference with prospective economic advantage and intentional interference with contractual relations, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage.

And last month, the Gossip Girl actor filed a federal lawsuit in New York accusing Baldoni of sexual harassment and ‘trying to destroy her reputation’ – accusations of which Baldoni’s team has branded ‘categorically false’.

Amid the lawsuits, Baldoni has alleged Lively sidelined him at the premiere of It Ends With Us last year to the point where him and his family were banished to a basement-level room.

In one snap, which was allegedly taken on August 6, Baldoni, his wife Emily, and several family members are shown sitting around a table with no windows in sight.

“They were confined to a makeshift holding area surrounded by concession stand stock, with only fold-out tables and chairs arranged in a square,” the lawsuit alleges.

“Surrounded by close friends, family, soda bottles, and a lot of love, the irony of being held in a basement on what was arguably one of the most important nights of Baldoni’s career thus far, was not lost on anyone.”

Lively has even been accused of excluding Baldoni from the celebrity after-party, allegedly paid for by Sonly and the actor’s own company, Wayfarer.

The lawsuit states: “As a result, Baldoni had to quickly organize and fund a separate after-party for himself and the Wayfarer team. Forcing the company to cover the costs for two events—one for Lively and everyone else, and one for Baldoni and Wayfarer’s own friends, family, crew, and team.”

Lively’ legal team has dismissed the counter-lawsuit, saying in a statement: “They are trying to shift the narrative to Ms. Lively by falsely claiming that she seized creative control and alienated the cast from Mr. Baldoni. The evidence will show that the cast and others had their own negative experiences with Mr. Baldoni and Wayfarer.”
