Travis Kelce pulled out all the stops for Taylor Swift‘s birthday!
We previously reported on the INSANE amount of money Trav spent on his lady for her birthday. The jewelry, the flowers, the hundreds of thousands of bucks — it’s clear he was wanting to show his appreciation for his gal! But he didn’t stop at the gifts. No, an insider for PageSix dished the presents were just a small part of the celebrations.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, according to the source, “went out of his way” to make everything magical for his girlfriend:
“Travis had jewelry engraved especially for Taylor, he gave her countless roses and showered her in gifts. He hired a private chef and bartender to cook and make cocktails for them.”
So not only the jewelry and flowers — a private chef and bartender, too?! Wow! He really tried to make every single detail so special!
The insider also said the 35-year-old football star made special arrangements to keep Taylor’s gifts secret from her until it was time:
“He had his gifts delivered beforehand so they would be a surprise.”
Not only that, to make sure the night was more “meaningful and memorable”, he kept the guest list small:
“Travis went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. He wanted to have an intimate party with Taylor for her birthday instead of throwing a huge gathering with tons of people. He thought the intimate setting would be preferable rather than be surrounded by a lot of people where Taylor would be mingling with everybody and they wouldn’t have much of a chance to have one-on-one time.”
When you have the world’s biggest athlete and the world’s biggest musician in a relationship, it’s hard to find downtime! The source explained how important it was for the two to be in a smaller setting:
“Taylor and Travis are always surrounded by a ton of people so it was really important that this celebration be different for Taylor. Travis couldn’t take his eyes off Taylor and he thought she looked exquisite. This was a night they’ll always remember and it went off without a hitch.”
