According to an anonymous Hollywood source, Justin Baldoni has become a victim of “blatant lies” spread about him by Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
During the filming of the movie, Lively and Baldoni maintained strictly professional relations, and he has text messages that prove the director was “caring, sensitive, and considerate” toward his co-star, especially during romantic scenes.
Previously, Ryan and Blake faced backlash for publicly joking about the legal battle with Justin, including an episode where they mocked the director during the special 50th-anniversary episode of SNL.
“I was so angry when I heard this blatant lie that I felt the need to speak the truth,” the insider shared.
In the lawsuit, Blake Lively accuses Justin of “violating boundaries” during a sex scene without prior discussion. She also claims that Baldoni showed her explicit videos and photos of other women and made inappropriate comments about her, including remarks about her weight. However, the anonymous source insists that Baldoni is the real victim.
“He cared so deeply about this film. It’s absolutely absurd to suggest that he was disrespectful in his work,” the informant concluded.
The source also believes that Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are using their influence to drag out the legal process and make it as costly as possible for Baldoni. Last week, it was revealed whose side Colleen Hoover, the author of the book the film is based on, has taken.
