Bebe Rexha is opening up about her struggles with infertility and navigating polycystic ovary syndrome.
In a since-deleted post on X, the singer and songwriter, 35, responded to people who were saying negative things about her weight following her appearance at the 2025 Met Gala. Rexha noted that she was “tired” of the comments, before opening up about her personal struggles and revealing she experienced a pregnancy loss.
“I’m so tired of people commenting on my weight,” she began in the since-deleted post. “I have PCOS and struggle with infertility. I got pregnant, and it didn’t work out and I’ve been carrying that pain in silence. I never owed anyone that truth, but maybe now you’ll think twice before commenting on any anyone’s body.”

The “Born Again” singer made her debut at fashion’s biggest night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 5. Rexha wore a Christian Siriano black coat and grand tulle skirt paired with fishnet gloves.
The Met Gala theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” which coincided with the museum’s spring 2025 exhibition, which explores “the Black dandy as both a concept and an identity signifier.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rexha said that when she thinks of dandyism, she thinks of “structured jackets.” On working with Siriano, she said the designer “always nails the assignment” and “always makes me look good.”

The Met Gala’s dress code for 2025 was “Tailored for You,” a nod to the exhibition’s focus on menswear and suiting.
Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour co-chaired the 2025 edition of the event. LeBron James was an honorary chair but announced he could not attend due to a knee injury sustained at the end of his NBA season.
