In case you missed it, the former couple had been locked in a legal battle since they broke up more than eight years ago but ended it this week! Yep, Angie and Brad finally finalized their divorce! The details of the financial settlement were not revealed in the documents, so who got what is unknown! However, according to Dailymail.com on Friday, the actress walked away $80 million richer! DAMN!
The exes signed a prenuptial agreement before getting married in 2014, stating that they would keep individual assets they had before their marriage while splitting their joint capital in the event of a divorce. Unfortunately for Brad, this arrangement ended up becoming very lucrative for Angelina! You see, the Fight Club actor gave her $8 million to buy the Los Angeles mansion that she currently lives in back in 2018 — two years after their divorce. He then paid over $1.3 million in bills for her and their six children.
In 2021, she sold a Winston Churchill painting Brad gifted to her for $11.5 million. And then a huge part of Angie’s earnings comes from her selling 50 percent of their winery Château Miraval to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group, for $64 million. All that made her millions!? Wow! Despite the Salt star gaining so much money, Brad is supposedly unbothered by it. A source told the outlet that he is just “relieved that this weight is finally lifted from him,” adding:
“He is no longer bound in any way to his marriage with Angelina. She has really put him through the ringer and he is just glad this portion is done.”
