Jennifer Lopez temporarily left Los Angeles to spend the Christmas holidays at a winter resort in Colorado with her 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, whom she shares with singer and actor Marc Anthony. During the vacation, her mother, Guadalupe, her sister Linda Lopez, and other relatives also joined her. Despite the quiet getaway, paparazzi still managed to capture the actress, spotting her at a bar in the Kemo Sabe clothing store in Aspen, enjoying drinks with Kevin Costner.
Insiders revealed that their meeting was unplanned and thrilled Lopez, as she is a huge fan of the series Yellowstone, in which the 69-year-old actor and director had recently starred.
For her outing, Jennifer chose a cozy, oversized black sweater with a festive print. Once inside, she removed it to reveal a form-fitting black jumpsuit that accentuated her slim figure, completing her look with a black cowboy hat. She wore light makeup with an emphasis on her eyes and a nude lip gloss, and her hair was styled in a high bun. In the store, she tried on a white hat and wore diamond-encrusted Chanel earrings shaped like the fashion house’s logo.
Her companions, including stars of Hustlers, also embraced the Western theme, sporting matching hats. Jennifer enjoyed chatting with Costner, who wore a black sweater and a brown scarf, comfortably sharing photos from his phone with those around them.
Sources close to the actress shared that her passionate interest in Yellowstone had caused some tension in her marriage with Ben Affleck, with whom she is currently undergoing a divorce. The Oscar winner had been concerned about how much Jennifer enjoyed the show’s criminal storyline. In March of the previous year, Ben appeared on Bill Simmons’ podcast with his best friend Matt Damon, revealing that Jennifer had been particularly interested in the romantic story between Rip Wheeler, played by Cole Hauser, and Kevin Costner’s onscreen daughter, Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly. “Jen said, ‘I like the story about those two.’ And I was like, ‘Wait a minute, with Cole Hauser? What do you like about that?’ I’m a little worried that my wife really likes Yellowstone,” Affleck shared.
