Over the weekend, we reported Ben Affleck was under the same roof as both Jennifer Garner AND Jennifer Lopez! But not to see each other — to see their kids! Ben and Jen’s 15-year-old Fin and J.Lo’s 16-year-old Emme go to the same school and were both part of a play which the trio of parents went to see in person, according to TMZ. But Ben wasn’t just there for Fin.
Page Six reported on Monday that after the production wrapped, the Gone Girl star waited by the stage door for Emme so he could congratulate them. The outlet noted he gave the teen a big hug and a kiss on the head as the Jenny from the Block singer watched “adoringly.”
Awww! That’s SO sweet! We love that they’re really prioritizing putting all the kiddos above their own personal issues. J.Lo could have easily intervened and deprived Emme of some love from their father figure — but instead she chose to let the pair relish in the sweet moment. Good for her! We know she clearly loves his kids, too — so it’s nice to hear that love is still going both ways!
As we reported, it’s not clear if the soon-to-be divorcées personally spoke at all during the night out, but it’s good to know they can at the very last cordially share space.
