Hugh Grant shocked the host of *The Kelly Clarkson Show* with some candid confessions during a recent interview. The actor, who is known for keeping his personal life private, suddenly revealed that his life with three young children living under his roofāand two others whom he regularly seesāis simply unbearable. According to Grant, the kids are constantly making noise, shouting, and climbing all over him. At 64 years old, he admits heās too old to tolerate all of this. When things get overwhelming, Hugh hides in the bathroom to escape. Heās even tried to nap there just to get a little peace, but to his dismay, his kids managed to break the door lock, so now he canāt even lock himself in anymore.
The talk show host seemed to believe Grant was being quite sincere as he lamented his difficult home life. However, after a moment of reflection, Hugh admitted that the situation at home isnāt as bleak as he made it sound. He explained that when he leaves London, where he lives with his wife Anna Eberstein and their children, he initially enjoys the quiet and solitude. But before long, he starts missing his family. When he returns home after a trip, his eldest daughter jumps on him and hugs him tightly, which usually moves him to tears.
Grant first became a father at 51 when his then-girlfriend Tinglan Hong gave birth to their daughter, Tabitha, in 2011. She later had their son, Felix. His wife, Anna Eberstein, whom he married in 2018, has since given him three more children. Their eldest, John Mungo, is now 12, and their daughters, Blue and Lulu, are 6 and 8, respectively. In addition to his own children, Hugh is also a godfather to Damien, the son of his longtime friend, actress Elizabeth Hurley.
